A startup portuguesa Uniplaces foi uma das vencedoras dos prémios europeus para startups e empreendedores inovadores, atribuído pela conferência The Europas. A startup portuguesa, cofundada por Miguel Santo Amaro, venceu o prémio na categoria de ‘Hottest Platform Economy/Marketplace’.

Os prémios The Europas são atribuídos anualmente pelo site TechCrunch, de Mike Butcher, e são o resultado das votações online dos seus leitores em 28 categorias. O evento começou em 2009, num bar de Londres e atualmente é a mais significativa distinção europeia para as startups tecnológicos na Europa.
